universal health cost cap

Insurance companies have grown too powerful and have abused their power to deny coverage while reaping the benefits of limited government intervention. Meanwhile, they deny you life even though you pay a premium on it.

I will introduce legislation that will expand Health Cost Caps that restrict the out of pocket expenses incurred by claimants on an annual basis; and require coverage of most medical procedures recommended by an individuals in-network doctor; preventing denial of service and allowing families to budget for their health expenses no matter the need.

medical pricing transparency

Consumers should have the ability to make educated decisions about where they receive medical treatment and the costs incurred by those treatments without surprise fees.

I will introduce legislation that not only outlines the format and minimum expectations of pricing transparency but also empowers the Department of Health and Human Services to levy fines on medical providers out of compliance.

pBM reform

PBMs have had little oversight and hold power over pharmaceutical drug pricing and access within insurance plans.

Vote for a reintroduced bipartisan PBM bill, like the one that was killed in congress in 2024 when Elon Musk publicly decried the bill only to later admit he didn’t know what a PBM was.

prescription drug price cap

Prescription drug prices are among the highest in the world in spite of American tax payer dollars accounting for billions of dollars in research investment behind most drugs on the market.

Create a Prescription Drug Affordability Board within the congress which will be staffed by board members nominated by the House of Representatives Committee on Health and Human Services, and confirmed by the Senate; who will serve for 7 year terms of service. During which time they will have the power to institute and adjust national prescription drug price caps.
